Author Event: Graphic Novelists

Join us at the Studio City Branch Library on Saturday, January 12 at 3 p.m. as we talk to graphic novel writers and illustrators about their work.

Currently scheduled panelists include Kara Leopard (Pandora’s Legacy), writer LaToya Morgan (Robyn Hood, also a TV writer for shows such as Into the Badlands), writer Isabel Quintero (Photographic: The Life of Graciela Iturbide), writer and illustrator Kim Dwinell (Surfside Girls), writer Nicole Andelfinger (Lumberjanes: A Midsummer Night’s Scheme), and writer and illustrator Aminder Dhaliwal (Woman World). The panel will be moderated by Tina Lernø, chair of the ALA Great Graphic Novels for Teens committee 2019 and 2020. Panelists subject to change.

Refreshments will be served courtesy of the Friends of the Studio City Library.
