Man Arrested on Suspicion of Snapping Photos Up Women’s Skirts

A 29-year-old man was behind bars Thursday on suspicion of taking lewd photos of women wearing skirts at a Target store in Cypress.

Police were called just after 8 p.m., Sunday, about a suspect taking the surreptitious photos at a Target store at 6935 Katella Ave., said Cypress police Sgt. Robert Cote. After a witness confronted him, he allegedly fled the store, Cote said.

Suspect Jorge IbarraJorge A. Ibarra Jr. was identified as a suspect and was arrested Wednesday and booked on suspicion of invasion of privacy, Cote said. Police suspect he took the same types of photos at a Target store at 20200 Bloomfield Ave. in Cerritos, Cote said.

Ibarra was being held in lieu of $25,000 bail, according to jail records.
