Former “Glee” actor Jesse Luken was arrested earlier this month on suspicion of driving under the influence in Glendale, police confirmed Wednesday.
Police responded to a report of a solo car crash near the intersection at San Fernando Road and Cerritos Avenue about 11:15 p.m. on Dec. 6, Glendale police Sgt. Dan Suttles said.
Luken’s Toyota hit the curb, damaging the right front tire and causing the airbags to deploy, he said.
Luken, who was not injured, was arrested at the scene and booked on suspicion of DUI after a field sobriety test was administered, Suttles said.
He posted $5,000 bail and was released just after noon the next day, according to county jail records.
Suttles said a potential misdemeanor DUI filing was pending. Luken opted for a blood test, and the results are not expected back for at least several months from the county lab, according to the sergeant.
Luken, 35, played Bobby “Boom Boom” Surette on “Glee” in 2012. His other credits include playing Jimmy Tolan in the FX drama series “Justified” and Eric in the CW science fiction romance series “Star- Crossed.”
