Five people were injured Thursday in a multi- vehicle crash on the westbound Ventura (101) Freeway in the Woodland Hills area.
Paramedics were sent to the freeway near Shoup Avenue about 7:15 a.m., according to the Los Angeles Fire Department.
The five patients were treated at the scene, and four of them were transported for hospital treatment, all with injuries that were not life- threatening, the LAFD reported.
All westbound lanes were closed until about 7:50 a.m., when most of the lanes were reopened.
