A person accused of trespassing on the Metro Red Line in the Westlake area of Los Angeles Monday suffered a head injury and was taken to a hospital.
It was unclear if the person was struck by a train.
Metro spokesman Dave Sotero — who did not disclose the person’s age, gender or condition — said that at “approximately 12:08 p.m., Metro Rail Operations reported a trespasser on the Red Line at Westlake/MacArthur Park. The person was transported by (the Los Angeles Fire Department) with a reported head injury.”
The train resumed normal operations at 1 p.m., he said.
